If you’ve seen Kpop Demon Hunters at least once (or six times like my daughter), you’ll know the HUNTR/X song “How it’s Done.”
Cause I’m gonna show you how it’s done done done!
HUNTR/X don’t miss
How it’s done, done, done
(Hey) HUNTR/X don’t quit
How it’s done, done, done

Ahem–yes, you’re welcome.
But seriously, when do you know your work for the day is done (done done)?
With the smartphone leash and fast internet, it seems work can happen anytime, anywhere.
Parks.
Vacations.
The bedroom.
The washroom.
And really, does it ever feel like your work is done?
If you’re the type of person who likes to get work done before you rest and relax, how often do you get to the stage when you can have a well-deserved break?
They key habit is to decide on what “done” looks like. If you’re working on a big project, like a research paper, you can think about JUST ONE THING that you can get done. And try to be okay with taking a break when that is accomplished.
There’s a reason why “working too much” is a common regret of the dying.
Work needs to have interim finish points so you can insert some quality life experiences in between.
Question: “How do you decide to stop work for the day?”
