Here’s how I like to reflect on my life at the end the year–I sit down and look through all of the photos I’ve taken on my smartphone since January 1st.

Do you want to try this too? If so, get out your phone and start from January 1, 2025 and look at each image. Give yourself time to look at each photo.
Then ask yourself a few questions:
What amazing moments were the highlights of your 2025?
What images showed mistakes that helped you be a better person?
What were some of the most challenging moments you experienced last year?
What were some of the most surprising experiences of the last year?
What experiences might you want to pursue further in 2026?
What experiences made you feel so proud?
Who were the kind and loving people in your corner?
Now look forward to 2026.
Where will you pour your energy and attention in the new year? Can you start blocking out time for what you love in 2026 before work and commitments erase all memories of this exercise?
Don’t let life crowd out what’s valuable to you.
You have a blank canvas. Put what’s important for you FIRST in the calendar.
Question: “what are you most looking forward to experiencing in 2026?”
