I decided to take a one-year academic sabbatical to focus on my family while building my career as a coach.
It’s one of the scariest things I’ve ever done.
For the next year, I will be unemployed from the hospital.
I’ve been unemployed before while on my two maternity leaves. But we all know those aren’t real breaks, but stress tests!
No…this is a real RESET.
I won’t be doctoring for one year.
It’s a blank slate.
I’ll be my own boss.
The schedule will be my own schedule (subject to the kids’ school routines of course).
I’ll be working with women just like you to build a community of mother-doctors who want to go after their great lives.
Have you ever wanted to take a very long break?
Then join me as I try different things!
Learn with me as I make mistakes and experiment.
In simplicity filter speak, this is me tackling a “difficult-yes”!
And if you have ever taken a sabbatical yourself, can you drop me a comment and give me some advice?
Question: “What would you do if you had one whole year to re-evaluate your life?”
