At this time of year, probably you are thinking back to what happened in the past 12 months. Maybe you feel good about all you’ve accomplished. Maybe you feel you didn’t hit your goals.
I want to share a habit that I started to practice about 8 years ago. I put a little memo on my calendar to “REFLECT ON LIFE.” At first, I put it on the first of every month.
Then I started to practice this habit weekly.
Now, I start each day by asking myself:
“What will be my best work for TODAY?” and
“How do I want to FEEL today?”
Shortening my season for reflection has made a big difference for me.
I wish you a season of rest and renewal.
